Having studied at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom (BEng and MSc in Civil Engineering), her goal became to return to Athens, and bridge the gap between the Greek market and the international community.

Her work as a field engineer and construction manager in large firms prior to creating her own meant that she was able not only to get first-hand onsite experience in a variety of projects, but to develop managerial and customer service skills as well. She liaised with the technical specialists, the firm headquarters, and customers, and ensured the smooth running of the projects. More importantly, she realized that developing an open feedback loop between the customers and the engineering staff made a huge difference in getting the job well done. 

As a field engineer, she worked on the construction, renovation, and maintenance of apartment buildings, commercial projects (ranging from national supermarket chain stores to independent boutiques), hospitals and clinics, as well as hotels in multiple locations all over Greece. The essence of her work, however, remained the same: she synthesized diverse expertise, different levels of experience, and often contradictory needs, in service of implementing functional, safe, and beautiful designs.

She now heads her own boutique team, having brought together exceptional collaborators who share the same vision and speak the same language.
