A former architecture studio, Alchemia was transformed into a self-care product lab, customer reception area, showroom, and meeting room, all rolled into one multi-functional space. As an open-space construction host to everything from product conception and design to customer service, the Alchemia project featured primarily flexibility, transparency, and a high attention to detail.
Each detail was designed and assessed using a full production simulation process. The choice of clean axes and visually-friendly configurations ensured a warm and inviting atmosphere. A combination of forged cement and wooden details was used to evoke a modern yet earthly sense of comfort. Emphasis was placed on creating visible and easily accessible storage spaces, without jeopardizing the lab’s calming atmosphere and overall aesthetic feel. Existing furniture was upcycled, therefore remaining in perfect alignment with the definition of renovation as a merger between old and new.
